Quality coordinator
Proof by example: the career path of Adriana Neto
"Management noticed me because they immediately realized I was looking for new challenges."
Adriana is currently the quality coordinator at Sonasurf. In 2011, she joined BOURBON's Angolan affiliate while she was a human resources assistant.
A year later, she received a promotion, becoming the quality coordinator within the same affiliate.
« "My job is to implement a Quality Management System (QMS) at the branch level as defined by ISO 9001. It's a very different role from my initial duties at Sonasurf; it's rewarding, motivating and fulfilling because achieving ISO certification is a major concern for the group. This certification creates a virtuous circle: the more satisfied the clients are, the more contracts we get! " ».
To move from HR assistant to quality coordinator, Adriana was able to spend 3 months in the Marseille quality department to familiarize herself with BOURBON's requirements and the QMS already in place. She was thus able to take on her new mission: introducing these principles by adapting them to the Sonasurf context.
Assisted and encouraged career management
To facilitate and encourage this internal mobility on group level, BOURBON ensures:
- aligning staff wishes to the career opportunities within the group
- encouraging internal mobility when the recruitment profiles exist within the group
- supporting new developments, when necessary, by providing training to its employees
There are several internal mobility measures available to BOURBON employees. In my case, a promotional opportunity came up very early in my career at Sonasurf.
