After several years of crisis followed by transformation, we are now entering a new phase: one of strengthening our foundations and one of recovery. Building on the robustness of our fleet, the recognized skills of our teams, and a new organization, we aim to sustainably consolidate our standards in order to better strive for operational excellence, always at the service of our clients.

In this context, it seemed essential to share a clear and concrete overview of the evolution of our fleet.

With regards to OSVs, the return to the fleet of the large PSV Bourbon Calm, purchased at auction from the Chinese group ICBCL, reinforces our strategy. After its conversion by BOURBON's technical teams, the vessel will become one of the few of this type authorized to transport certain chemical products. It will start operating in January on a long-term contract in Guyana. At the same time, four AHTS vessels from the Bourbon Liberty 200 series are being reactivated to meet growing demand, while a plan to reactivate six additional vessels is being studied for 2026.

Meanwhile, our ambitious Crewboat renewal program will see the arrival of around 15 new vessels in the fleet. These new units, measuring 20, 27, and 34 meter, will enable a significant reduction in fuel consumption and embody a new generation of performance and innovation for our clients, while contributing to the strengthening of our operational performance.

We are also continuing our efforts to extend the lifespan and competitiveness of our existing vessels, such as the MPSV Bourbon Evolution 802, which will undergo a full technological upgrade of its class 3 dynamic positioning system in 2026, similar to the one we are currently finalizing on the Bourbon Evolution 810

These investments reflect our deep conviction that the offshore market remain dynamic, and BOURBON fully intends to regain its leadership through operational excellence, innovation capacity, and the commitment of its teams. This ambition is combined with a strong desire to reduce the environmental impact of our activities, as illustrated in particular by the Green Marine Europe certification obtained by the group's first shipmanager.

It is therefore with confidence and determination that we are following this path serving your projects, everywhere in the world.

Data for energy and environmental performance

Wassim KENNOU
Fleet Director
4 min

In line with its commitment to operational excellence and reducing the environmental impact of its activities, BOURBON uses the Marinsights tool developped by its partner Opsealog, to optimize fuel consumption, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG), and improve the overall energy performance of offshore operations. Explainations from Wassim Kennou, Fleet Director.

This large-scale rollout follows a six-month pilot project conducted on 25 offshore support vessels (OSVs), which reduced monthly emissions per vessel by an average of 45 to 50 tons of CO₂. These concrete results demonstrate the potential of data to transform the energy performance of the maritime sector.

“Our aim is to make the best possible use of the data collected by our digital tools to improve the performance of our fleet.” explains Wassim Kennou.

Thanks to the digital logbook and the Marinsights platform, data collected on board - fuel consumption, activity, standby time, routes, weather conditions, etc. - is consolidated, analyzed, and compared. This information is then presented in weekly and monthly reports shared with crews and their management, providing a simple and reliable overview of energy performance. Teams can now assess whether each vessel's consumption meets clients expectations, identify best practices, and detect areas for improvement. The tool also measures the rate of application of best operational practices, such as the optimal use of the number of engines during standby, in order to maximize energy efficiency.

A collective drive for continuous improvement

This shared analysis of the data aims to create a genuine culture of performance. Performance reports encourage teams to adjust their practices and adopt a proactive approach to reducing emissions and consumption. “Data analysis enables our crews to work on improving energy efficiency based on concrete and measurable information."

This initiative illustrates BOURBON's commitment to aligning itself with the best environmental practices in the maritime sector, while anticipating future regulations, in particular the requirements for monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) of greenhouse gases emissions.

By integrating data into the daily management of its fleet, BOURBON confirms its position as a responsible and innovative player, capable of offering its customers solutions that are efficient, transparent, and sustainable.

Baobab project – A major success off the coast of Ivory Coast

BOURBON recently successfully completed the Baobab project, a large-scale deepwater operation conducted 65 kilometers southwest of Abidjan, at depths of between 1,000 and 1,400 meters.

The main objective was to disconnect the FPSO from its subsea infrastructure so that it could be transferred to shore for modification. This mission included disconnecting several risers and umbilicals, some of which were scrapped and others carefully deposited on the seabed for potential future reuse.

The project was carried out within a particularly demanding schedule: after an engineering phase that began in June 2024, the teams launched offshore operations at the end of January 2025. Less than two months later, the disconnection was successfully completed and the entire mission was completed on schedule.

While this success is based on rigorous technical and organizational expertise, it is also the result of exceptional collective commitment. In a complex and sometimes unpredictable environment, the teams demonstrated great cohesion, adaptability, and resilience, ensuring the expected performance.

The Baobab project illustrates BOURBON's ambition: to strengthen its position in the Transport & Installation (T&I) segment and offer integrated and innovative solutions. This project is an important milestone in our development strategy and demonstrates our ability to meet challenges alongside our clients on a long-term basis.

BOURBON is strengthening its collaboration with Eni Congo by signing a five-year contract for the complete renewal of its crewboat fleet. This partnership illustrates the two companies' shared desire to combine operational performance with a reduction in emissions linked to the transport of offshore personnel. Guillaume Hallé, Managing Director of Bourbon Congo, explains.

Six latest-generation S200X-G2 vessels will be delivered between June and December 2026. In the meantime, six temporary units will ensure continuity of operations from the start of the contract. These new vessels, designed to meet Eni's specific needs, will feature improved energy efficiency and ergonomics. Their hydrodynamic design, optimized propulsion system, and real-time monitoring tool (EFMS) will enable accurate performance tracking.

“This contract is the result of genuine teamwork and a change in corporate culture at Bourbon Congo, aligned with the group's values and behaviors. We have earned our client's lasting trust thanks to the technical reliability of our vessels and the rigor with which we manage our operations” emphasizes Guillaume Hallé.

To achieve this level of reliability, Bourbon Congo has implemented an innovative planned preventive maintenance approach, supported by its Surfers Repair Centers (SRCs) in Pointe Noire. "We have established monthly maintenance schedules for contractual maintenance days, which allows us to better prepare interventions and workload plans for technical teams, enabling us to anticipate rather than react. Each visit to the SRC is subject to a check of around 50 key points in order to prevent potential breakdowns." These practices have led to nearly 90% technical availability, a remarkable performance in the sector for vessels that are around ten years old.

Digitization and continuous improvement

BOURBON is also leveraging digital reporting to give ENI Congo greater visibility into its operations: fuel consumption, number of passengers transported, operating time, and boat landings are now tracked daily using onboard tablets. “We are still in a process of continuous improvement, but this digital collaboration already enables ENI to collect key data to optimize the management of its fleet.”

A tailor-made fleet

Designed for passenger comfort and operational performance, this new generation of crewboats features 30 ergonomic seats, enhanced air conditioning, and a large onboard screen. Its wheelhouse has been specially adapted to ENI's offshore infrastructure, with an adjusted height to facilitate boat landing operations. “These technical adjustments reflect our desire to tailor our solutions to the specific needs of our customers,” adds Guillaume Hallé. "It is this culture of listening and high standards that has led ENI Congo to entrust BOURBON with 100% of the fleet they need. "

Finally, with a view to enhancing synergies, BOURBON and ENI are looking into bringing their operational bases closer together at the new Yasika logistics site.

A major technical achievement for BOURBON in Guyana!

3 min

BOURBON takes a decisive step in the offshore development in Guyana: as of January 2026, the Bourbon Calm, one of the very first PSVs authorized to transport certain products under the OSV Chemical Code, will start its contract with one of the country's long-standing operators. This groundbreaking contract confirms the Group's ability to deliver innovative, safe, and competitive maritime solutions to major energy players.

This new agreement is unprecedented: for the first time, a PSV vessel will be authorized to transport certain types of chemicals, following conversion work carried out by BOURBON's technical teams and validated by DNV classification society and maritime authorities. This permanent certification gives the Bourbon Calm a unique status, it is now part of a very select group of vessels worldwide capable of performing this type of operation, in compliance with the OSV Chemical Code.

“This new contract illustrates ExxonMobil's confidence in BOURBON's ability to offer safe, innovative, and economically efficient maritime solutions that comply with the highest regulatory standards,” says Karim Mebarek, Chief Commercial Officer of BOURBON. “With its modern design, enhanced storage capacity, and equipment that meets the highest safety standards, the Bourbon Calm embodies BOURBON's approach: combining innovation, efficiency, and responsibility. The targeted and limited modifications made on board enable rapid commissioning, ensuring responsiveness and reliability for the client.”

With this contract, BOURBON confirms its key role in the development of offshore activities in Guyana and continues its commitment to providing excellent maritime solutions to its partners.

Bourbon Guyana accelerates its growth and local presence

After starting operations with two vessels serving ExxonMobil's FPSO Liza Destiny, Bourbon Guyana has become a key player in the country's offshore logistics sector in just a few years.

Since 2021, it had deployed several OSVs to support major oil projects in the Guyana Basin. Two years later, its fleet grew to four vessels and new contracts were won for the Liza Unity and Payara projects. The creation of a local joint venture then enabled Bourbon Guyana to obtain local content certification and almost double its fleet to seven OSVs, while strengthening its onshore team.

In 2023, the Guyanese government's Local Content Secretariat officially awarded Bourbon Guyana the Local Content Certificate, and the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) recognized Bourbon as one of the top three contributors to local economic development among entrepreneurs in the local oil and gas sector. Since then, Bourbon Guyana has continued to grow. In 2024 and then in 2025, the fleet expanded further to ten OSVs, most of which were engaged alongside Saipem on the Uaru, Whiptail, and Yellowtail projects. The company also invests in local talent: a cadet sponsorship program launched in 2024, expanded in 2025 to eight young people, supports the training of a new generation of Guyanese officers.

Bourbon Guyana intends to continue this momentum by contributing to future offshore developments, notably Whiptail, Hammerhead and other upcoming projects, while strengthening its local content and skills transfer initiatives.
