BOURBON publishes its 2025 Sustainability Report
BOURBON has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, presenting the Group’s non-financial performance and its sustainability strategy at a time of profound transformation. The report also marks an important milestone in BOURBON’s progressive preparation for the future requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which will apply to the Group from 2028 onwards.
Tangible Environmental Progress
In 2025, BOURBON continued its efforts to reduce the environmental footprint of its operations and fleet. The Group achieved a slight reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared with 2024, recording a total carbon footprint of 735,800 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent.
Key initiatives included:
- the deployment of digital energy optimization solutions;
- the continuation of pilot projects aimed at reducing fuel consumption;
- the development of new, more environmentally efficient crewboats;
- a decarbonization pathway targeting a 75% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, compared with 2020 levels.
Safety and People at the Core of Our Priorities
Health and safety remain the cornerstones of the Group’s culture. In 2025, BOURBON achieved a TRIR of 0.57, its best performance in seven years, while maintaining its objective of zero accidents.
The year was also marked by:
- around 60,000 hours of training delivered;
- the international rollout of the B Managers leadership programme;
- strengthened diversity and inclusion initiatives;
- continued actions to attract, retain and develop the maritime talent of tomorrow.
Strengthened Governance
In an increasingly demanding regulatory and geopolitical environment, BOURBON continued to reinforce its ethics & compliance framework, cybersecurity measures and responsible supply chain management.
In 2025:
- 100% of critical suppliers had signed the Supplier Code of Conduct;
- 93.5% of the most exposed employees had completed the Group’s Compliance training programme.
