Our impact, our actions!
BOURBON today publishes its 2024 Sustainability Report, illustrating the concrete and collective progress made over the past year in terms of social and environmental responsibility.
Despite a challenging environment, the Group's employees and managers, both on land and at sea, mobilized around issues such as diversity, equity, and inclusion during inspiring events such as People's Week. Key events such as Compliance Day, Environment Week, and Safety Day punctuated 2024, helping to sustainably strengthen the culture of compliance, safety, and responsibility within the Group. At the same time, local initiatives led by entities such as the reduction in plastic use implemented by Bourbon Logistics in Namibia demonstrate the concrete and proactive commitment of teams in the field.
In terms of compliance, more than 4,000 employees were trained in 2024. The increased use of the ethic alert platform demonstrates the growing maturity of the system. In terms of the environment, BOURBON is continuing its decarbonization efforts with major projects such as the planned retrofitting of its fleet and the commissioning of new Crewboats with improved energy performance. Finally, safety is a major commitment for BOURBON. With a TRIR maintained below 0.75 in 2024, the Group is continuing its efforts while reaffirming its determination to prevent any incidents.
This report reflects the collective commitment of all BOURBON employees and partners to a process of continuous improvement in the service of sustainable, responsible and shared development.
Reducing our environmental impact begins with a clear understanding of our emissions. This carbon footprint reflects BOURBON's main sources of emissions and is an essential tool for guiding our decarbonization efforts, in line with our energy transition commitments.
