2024 International Women's day

Dear all,

All over the world, March 8th is a day to raise awareness of the need to reduce inequalities in terms of pay, job mix, career development and stereotypes.

As a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, BOURBON supports the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which include:

• Gender equality ("Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls" - ODD N°5)
• Reducing inequalities ("Reduce inequalities within and among countries" - MDG N°10).

In line with these commitments and keen to place diversity and inclusion at the heart of its actions, BOURBON BOURBON set up a committee dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and multiculturalism within its teams.

One of its key areas of focus is the fight against sexism. For this reason, from today, all Group employees will be able to take an e-learning course entitled "Preventing and fighting against ordinary sexism in the workplace", which will enable them to identify a sexist remark or behavior and respond appropriately as a victim or witness.

Another of the committee's objectives: to make BOURBON's female employees more visible, to get to know the jobs they do, to understand the challenges they face on a daily basis.
