Our 2020 "photos of the month"
  • At the beginning of June, the Bourbon Subsea Services project team and the crew of Bourbon Orca were towing and connecting the third 8.4 MW floating wind turbine of the Windfloat Atlantic wind farm, on the Portuguese coast. Culminating at almost 100m height, these floating wind turbines, with a total capacity of 25MW, are the most powerful ever installed.
  • 365 days a year, the French coastline is protected by 4 Emergency Towing Vessels (ETV) tugs and 3 Offshore support vessels chartered by the French Navy. Among them, the mythical Abeille Bourbon (photo), a tug with a bollard pull of over 200 t.
